Volunteer with Dogs

Do you love dogs? Would you wear slobber and dog hair as the mark of a day well spent? Then you are exactly the person our dogs need.

Volunteer with Dogs

Dog Handler at Adoption Events

Every weekend, All the Paws transports adoptable dogs to adoption events across our community. When the dogs arrive you’ll be paired with one dog for the whole event — your job is to help them feel comfortable, stay safe, and shine for potential adopters. We provide onsite guidance and experienced volunteers to support you through your shift, and we can certify community service hours.

Age requirements

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

How to get involved: join our Adoption Event Dog Handler list below and we’ll email details for upcoming weekend events along with a sign-up link.

Dog Walking at the Rescue Care Center

Fresh air, exercise and one-on-one time — dog walks are about far more than a quick break outside. Join our team of dog walkers, get some steps in, and share some love with the dogs who need it most.

Age requirements

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to walk dogs at the Rescue Care Center. For everyone’s safety, minors are not permitted in the kennel area.

How to get involved: start by attending a general information session at our Rescue Care Center.

Take a Dogventure

Adventure is fun, but adventure with a dog is better. Whether it’s a trip to a coffee shop for a pup cup, a hike at a local park, or a cozy nap on your couch, our dogs love outings with humans. Time away from the Rescue Care Center — a few hours, a full day or a sleepover — helps them stay happy, healthy and ready for adoption.

Foster a Dog

Give a dog or a litter of puppies a temporary home while they wait for adoption.

Youth Opportunities

Kids and teens can support rescue and adoption in many meaningful ways.

Support & Remote Roles

Help from home with transport, writing, marketing, fundraising and more.
